Fairfield House Renovation

The owner’s father, an architect, designed the renovation of this old highset Queenslander. I took his hand drawn sketches and completed 3D documentation of the original house and the renovation to his specifications. This delightful house is nearing completion.

Clayfield House Renovation

The owner wanted to do a fix up of a tired old Queenslander in Clayfield for resale. The existing room layout was a challenge to redesign, and the bathroom and kitchen were disasters but the finished plan and renovation is breathtaking.

Upper Coomera House Renovation

The owner bought a beautiful block of land in Upper Coomera and wanted a large house with potential for a granny flat as well as a pool accessible from the upper floor. Designing on the sloping site was a challenge, but the end result is an interesting design set into the ground. This home is finished to perfection.

Camp Hill House Renovation

A very old heritage listed worker’s cottage with no original plans needed a huge renovation to house a growing family. The new town planning rules for small lots allowed me to design a bit closer to the side boundaries of the narrow block and we created a larger floor plan with open plan kitchen and a lovely rear deck. The new plan flows effortlessly from old to new keeping the old charm and creating large airy rooms with a new lower floor with a new entrance, all bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. The new carport and boundary fence complete the ‘new look’ family home.

Carindale House Renovation

The owners of this house wanted a ‘wow’ kitchen, with a bit of structural genius we were able to increase the size of the living/kitchen area and they went wild with their ‘Hamptons’ style kitchen. They also got a lovely new swimming pool with patio area to complete their entertainment paradise.

Windsor House Renovation

Another old tired Queenslander for a sweeping new touch! We couldn’t lift the house as it wouldn’t get planning approval as it was too close to the rear setback. I increased the floor area to create a beautiful new kitchen/living area with a new deck. An accessible bathroom was required as well as a lift to the ground floor level as this house needed to be wheelchair accessible. Because of overland flow I had to leave the undercroft as a parking/storage area only, so the guest wc/laundry has a special spot under the new carport roof with a charming dormer window. The old railway cottage is unspoilt but bigger modern and functional.
